Citizens Police Academy

"A great opportunity to learn about your police service, what we do, and how we do it."

Sorry the 2025 Citizen Police Academy has concluded.

Participants told us the Citizen Police Academy was a fantastic community engagement event. We are busy planning the next one and hope to see you there.

Please check back and keep an eye on our social media for future Citizen Police Academy dates.

Kingston Police is proud to announce the return of the highly successful Citizens Police Academy Program. This program provides opportunities for members of our community to learn about their local police service, with exposure to see first-hand what we do and how we do it.

The candidates will be given the opportunity to view numerous areas of the service and some of our community partners. The Academy will provide demonstrations, presentations, and voluntary participant interactions.
