Police Liaison Teams (PLTs) are drawn from all of the other units that fall under Community Oriented Response and Engagement. When there are significant, large scale events scheduled to take place in Kingston, PLTs become the point of contact for the organizers of protests, parades, homecoming, and other similar events. PLTs are used to open an avenue of information sharing between the police and organization leaders.
