Criminal Investigations encompasses several investigative units that are responsible for investigating significant and complex cases.
Investigators withing these units hold the rank of Detective Constable and receive specialist training in their given area. The training is on-going with courses taught at Ontario Police College, Canadian Police College, and in-house by outside experts.
