  • OHL Big Ticket Night with the Kingston Frontenacs

    This Friday, November 12th, is the OHL’s Big Ticket Night when the Kingston Frontenacs play host to the Oshawa Generals.

    In partnership with the Kingston Frontenacs, the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run and the Kingston Police Service, the Frontenacs will host the OHL’s Big Ticket Night fundraiser for Special Olympics.

    On November 26, 2021 members of the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit executed a drug search warrant at a house on Division Street with the assistance of the Emergency Response Unit.

    Kingston Police continue to receive several incidents of individuals being contacted by fraudsters, who claim to be employees from the Canada Border Services Agency and demanding money.

    The victim in this latest incident called the Police on November 2, and reported that she has just been defrauded $30,000 in funds.

    Kingston Police Patrol Units were kept busy over Halloween weekend responding to numerous calls including one that lead to a significant arrest. Shortly after midnight on November 1st , 2021 Patrol Officers were dispatched to a business located on Bath Rd. between Gardiners Rd and Centennial Dr.

  • Kingston Police Patrol Officers seized drugs, paraphernalia and handgun during late night incident

    On October 28 2021, Kingston Police were called to the parking lot of 410 Bath Rd. in relation to a suspicious activity call. At approximately 10:23 pm police received information that individuals were sitting in a vehicle and were observed operating a drone in close proximity to Collins Bay Institution.

  • Community Partners work together to address more illegal gatherings on October 23 weekend
    For the second weekend in a row, Kingston Police and Bylaw Enforcement, alongside community partners, worked together to address and mitigate disruptive gatherings in the University District area.
    While this past weekend showed a small decrease in disruptive behavior, Bylaw Enforcement issued 64 Administrative Monetary Penalties (AMPs), totaling $68,700 in fines.
