  • Police asking for public’s assistance to identify thief

    On January 26, 2109 police received a report regarding theft from a store on Gardiners Road. The complainant reported that on November 26, 2018 at approximately 1:15 p.m. an unknown suspect stole over $400 in cash from an unattended till.

    On February 7, 2019 the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit obtained a search warrant for an apartment on Leroy Grant Drive, in relation to drug trafficking.

  • Kingston Police identify and arrest a fourth suspect in Fraser St shooting

    Only nine days after masked suspects fired shots through windows of a Fraser Street apartment, detectives with the Kingston Police major crime have identified and arrested a fourth man. He was one of the masked suspects caught on security video.

  • Calls for service from February 7, 2019

    Kingston Police had 135 calls for service during the 24 hour period starting from 5:00 a.m. on February 7, 2019. Of these, 108 calls occurred in the city central area, 20 in the west end, 4 in the east end, and 2 north of Highway 401.
