Driver arrested after colliding with house

On Saturday March 29, 2025, at approximately 11:15 p.m. the Kingston Police responded to a report of a vehicle which had driven into a house in the area of Meadowcrest Avenue.

On arrival, officers located a vehicle which had travelled from the roadway, onto a lawn, across the lawn, and collided with the concrete steps of a residence which ultimately stopped the vehicle. 

Through the course of investigation officers determined the driver of the vehicle was impaired by alcohol. No one was injured as a result of this incident.

The 42-year-old driver of the vehicle was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a conveyance and impaired operation of a conveyance exceeding blood alcohol concentration. They were transported to Kingston Police headquarters and later released with a future court date.
