Kingston Police investigating fatal collision.

Members of the Kingston Police Traffic Unit are currently investigating a fatal collision which occurred over the weekend.

On November 2, 2024, at approximately 7:40 p.m. police responded to a report of a collision between a motor vehicle and an electric bicycle at the intersection of Bath Road and Armstrong Road.

An initial investigation revealed a 47-year-old Kingston women operating an electric bicycle crossing Bath Road toward Armstrong Road was struck by a pick-up truck making a left turn onto Bath Road from Armstrong Road.

The victim was administered first aid by a passerby until paramedics arrived on scene and transported the victim to hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.

The investigation is currently on-going, and no charges have been laid at this time.
