Police continue to investigate home invasion incident

Members of the Kingston Police Criminal Investigations Division are continuing to investigate a home invasion which occurred on September 23, 2024, at approximately 11:50 p.m. in the area of Frontenac Street and Brock Street.

Investigators have determined that the incident, in which two individuals suffered serious injuries, was a targeted attack.

The suspect, who left the residence prior to police arrival was not located despite police conducting an extensive search which involved multiple officers including the K9 Unit.

Investigators have conducted a canvass in the area of the incident. Kingston Police are also reminding the public to be vigilant regarding incidents of residential break and enter. Please ensure that exterior doors and windows to residences are locked and secured especially while away from home. Residents should also ensure any exterior lighting and/or security camera systems are functioning properly.
