Police requesting public’s assistance in identifying suspect involved in theft of donation jar

The Kingston Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in the theft of a donation jar from a local business.

On December 18th, 2023 at approximately 11:20 a.m. a suspect entered a local business in the area of Princess Street and University Avenue. The suspect proceeded to steal a donation jar full of change before exiting the store on foot.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, with dark shoulder length hair, wearing a ¾ length black winter jacket with black fur around the hood and dark coloured pants. The suspect was also carrying a red and white re-useable shopping bag.
