Police requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an axe wielding male who committed mischief

On January 13, 2021 at approximately 8:45 a.m. a male suspect was captured on video which was mounted to a vehicle in a parking lot on Brock Street in downtown Kingston. On the video the suspect was observed looking around the parking lot while standing next to a motor vehicle. He had a large axe in his hands which he then proceeded to use to smash out the passenger side front window of the vehicle. He leaned forward and looked inside the broken window of the vehicle before leaving the scene.

The male suspect is described as Caucasian and was wearing a black ball cap and a blue coat with light grey or white piping and accents.
