Kingston Police seek public’s assistance identifying individuals involved in disappearance of belongings

The Kingston Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals involved in the disappearance of personal items in the food court at the Cataraqui Town Center.
On June 8, 2023 between the hours of 12:45 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. the complainant and their spouse were seated in the food court at the Cataraqui Town Center. The complainant and their spouse then left the food court, accidentally leaving behind a bag with personal belongings inside. Upon noticing, they returned to the food court only to find the bag gone.
Security camera footage revealed an individual taking the complainant’s bag and placing it inside their purse. At the time of the incident this individual was accompanied by a second individual.
These individuals were later seen speaking with Cataraqui Town Center staff however the complainant’s possessions were never turned over to staff or recovered.
Police are looking to speak with the individuals captured on security footage to ascertain their involvement in this incident and further investigate the disappearance of the complainant’s belongings.
The first individual is described as Caucasian, with shoulder length white hair, wearing eye glasses, a black shirt, blue tights with a black stripe and dark colored shoes.
The second individual is described as Caucasian, with dark hair, a receding hairline, wearing eye glasses and a two tone grey colored quarter zip sweater.
