Police seek public’s assistance identifying shoplifter.

On May 8, 2024 the suspect, a 40 year old Kingston individual was arrested and charged with Theft Under $5000 and Breach of Probation.

Police seek public’s assistance identifying shoplifter.

 

The Kingston Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a shoplifter who stole a bullet proof vest, two paintball guns and other items from Smith Army Surplus located at 86 Princess Street.

 

On April 23, 2024 at approximately 04:10 p.m. the suspect entered the business and proceeded to steal a bullet proof vest and two paintball guns which were stored in a locked cabinet. The suspect remained in the store for approximately 20 minutes during which time they stole some additional items of apparel before departing.

 

The suspect is described as Caucasian, clean shaven, with a medium build and dark hair in the style of a brush cut.

 

At the time of the incident the suspect was wearing a light blue hat with “FOX” written on the front. The suspect was also wearing a dark blue jacket with a grey top, blue jeans and dark shoes. The suspect was carrying a black backpack at the time of the incident.
