Police seek public’s assistance in identifying jewelry thief.

The Kingston Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a theft from a local jewelry store.

 

On May 5, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m. the suspect entered a jewelry store located inside the Cataraqui Center. The suspect was being served by a staff member when they suddenly grabbed the items the staff member was showing them and fled from the store.

 

The suspect ran the entire length of the mall and fled out the west upper-level doors.

 

The suspect is described as black, 20-30 years old, 6’3, and 160lbs with a slim build. The suspect had a partial beard and was wearing eyeglasses. At the time of the incident the suspect was wearing a multi color do-rag, a collared blue shirt, blue track pants and royal blue high top Nike shoes. The suspect was also wearing a gold chain with a round gold pendant.
