Police seek public’s assistance in sexual assault investigation.

On Tuesday. September 17, 2024, at approximately 2:10 p.m., Kingston Police received a report of a suspicious act in the area of Norman Rogers Drive and Van Order Drive.
An individual witnessed a suspect grab a female victim’s buttocks. The suspect was described as Middle Eastern, approximately 20-30 years old, bald, and was wearing a grey hooded sweater and grey track pants. The victim left the area prior to police arrival and has not been identified at this time.
Police then received additional calls in the area of Yonge St for the suspect grabbing another female’s buttocks and exposing himself to other individuals. Police located the suspect in the area of Lake Ontario Park a short time afterwards.
The 26-year-old suspect from Kingston, was arrested and charged with sexual assault x 2, indecent act and breach of probation. The suspect was transported to Kingston Police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
Police are looking to identify the female victim involved in the initial incident that occurred in the area of Norman Rogers Drive and Van Order Drive, as well as any other individuals that may have been victimized by the suspect or witnessed the suspect’s actions.
