Police wish to speak with Good Samaritan who intervened during sexual assault in midtown Kingston

Kingston Police investigators are attempting to identify and speak with a Good Samaritan who intervened during a sexual assault which occurred on May 28, 2023 at approximately 1:00 a.m. in the parking lot of an apartment building located in the 200 block of Queen Mary Road in midtown Kingston.
A lone female had attended the parking lot of the apartment building when she was suddenly approached by a group of males who proceeded to sexually assault her. A Good Samaritan who had been walking southbound on Queen Mary Road observed the assault and intervened by yelling at the suspects, resulting in them fleeing from the scene on foot northbound towards Bath Road.
The Good Samaritan, who intervened during the assault, is described as a Caucasian male, possibly in his fifties, with black hair.
Investigating officers would like to speak with this Good Samaritan, who intervened during the assault, as he may be able to provide further information that could prove valuable to the police investigation.
