Teacher arrested for assault after incident with students

On November 12, 2024, an occasional teacher employed by the Limestone District School Board was involved in an incident which resulted in two students receiving minor injuries.

Police were notified of the incident and through the course of investigation determined that an occasional teacher assaulted two students in a classroom setting.

On November 27, 2024, the 44-year-old accused individual of Kingston was arrested and charged with two counts of assault. The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
