The Finance unit is comprised of 3 members, the Director of Finance, Finance Assistant and Payroll Clerk.
The Finance Unit manages all the financial operations of the Kingston Police. The services they provide include annual budget preparation, budget and financial analysis, purchasing services, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll.
They have overall responsibility for monitoring all financial activities on an annual operating budget of more than $47 million.

This team has a critical role in supporting the business operations of the Kingston Police. Successful applicants in the Finance Unit must be self-motivated, have a high level of attention to detail and be excellent with numbers and various computer programs related to finance and payroll.
