    On September 28, 2021 members of the Kingston Police Drug Enforcement Unit executed a drug search warrant at a hotel located in the area of Benson Street and Division Street. The Emergency Response Unit assisted by arresting the couple as they left their hotel room.

  • UDSI weekend results in Prowl by Night arrest, more than $100,000 in nuisance party charges

    Kingston Police and City of Kingston Bylaw Enforcement had another busy weekend in the University District between September 24 and 26. With officers dedicated to enforcing the University District Safety Initiative (UDSI), public safety was the priority and all streets were kept clear and open for normal vehicular traffic and emergency responders.

  • Police locate missing teen safe in downtown Kingston

    Kingston Police would like to thank the public for their assistance after missing teenager Jorden DOUCET was located safely in  downtown Kingston at approximately 11:00 p.m. on the evening of September 22, 2021. Thank you to all those who assisted in locating Jorden and shared information in regards to his possible whereabouts.

    With the assistance of the Kingston Police Traffic Safety Unit’s new drone, officers were able to successfully and safely locate an elderly male who had been reported missing by a family member.

  • Three Kingston Men Arrested After Ongoing Cocaine Trafficking Investigation

    On August 18, 2021 members of the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit concluded an ongoing cocaine trafficking investigation. Members of the Kingston Police Drug Unit, K9 Unit and the Emergency Response Unit assisted with the execution of drug search warrants at two locations on Wellington Street and Ontario. Three males were arrested and found to be in possession of a large quantity of Cocaine, MDMA, Xanax, Codeine, LSD, Oxycontin, Psilocybin mushrooms, Hash, THC Oil, Cannabis edibles, and processed cannabis. Officers as well located evidence of drug trafficking and a large amount of Canadian currency. The total value of the seizure was approximately $600 000.00.
