    Crime Prevention Campaign, Lock It OR Lose It

    Kingston police wish to remind citizens not to leave valuables in their vehicles and be sure to lock their doors. These types of thefts are usually thefts of opportunity. Someone trying door handles will enter unlocked parked vehicles and steal anything of value.

  • Operation Impact 2022

    Officers in the Kingston Police Traffic Safety Unit were on the roads throughout the Thanksgiving Weekend participating in Canada wide #OperationImpact2022.

  • Police Investigating Afternoon Bank Robbery

    The Kingston Police would like to thank members of the public for their assistance in this matter. 

    On September 29, 2022 at approximately 10:00 p.m. members of the Kingston Police located and arrested the accused individual without incident.

  • Kingston Police arrest individual in relation to October 2021 double homicide

    The Kingston Police in partnership with the London Police Service and with the assistance of the Durham Regional Police Service, Ontario Provincial Police and the Toronto Police Service have arrested an individual for the October 16th 2021 murders of Nico Soubliere and Carl Alen Delphin; both from Ottawa.

  • Kingston Police asking for assistance to locate missing person

    UPDATE:

    Missing person 84-year-old Douglas Mayne has been safely located.

  • Accused Arrested After Theft from Car

    On August 3, 2022, at approximately 2:40 a.m. the accused entered a vehicle parked in a west end private driveway. The accused stole a wallet containing various cards, including bank and credit cards.

  • Man Charged with Assault after Spitting on Victim

    On August 3, 2022, at approximately 9:35 a.m. the accused attended a local shelter and during interaction with staff he became agitated and started throwing aground garbage. The accused then spit in the face of a staff member who attempted to calm him down.

  • Ride-Share Driver Charged with Sexual Assault

    On June 28, 2022, Kingston Police began investigating a suspicious vehicle incident (22-22774). Video surveillance of the suspect vehicle was obtained and a request for public assistance was released.

  • A Painting for Kingston Police

    After positive interactions with Kingston Police for assistance, David stopped by Police Headquarters today. To show his appreciation for the officers that have helped him, David dropped of a painting "Coffee Break at the Pig & Whistle" and performed an Elvis song.

  • Update on suspect from October 2021 double homicide

    With help from members of the public, the Kingston Police Major Crime Unit has recently obtained additional video footage of a male being named as a suspect in the October 2021 murders of Nico Soubliere and Carl Alen Delphin.
