Kingston Police Community Volunteers add newly trained bicycle patrol members to their ranks

This past Canada Day long weekend you may have seen a group of seven Kingston Police Community Volunteers out riding bikes in Kingston’s west end and throughout other parts of the city.

These volunteers were receiving training on how to conduct bike patrols on trails and streets in and around our community. The newly trained volunteers will now bring the bike patrol team to a complement of 18 members. Bike patrol volunteers will not only be seen at special events in the city but will now be able to make a greater impact connecting with citizens out in the community.

If you see our Kingston Police Community Volunteers this summer, please feel free to say hello and thank them for their gracious service to the community.
