Kingston Police seek assistance in identifying individuals involved in theft of a vehicle.

The Kingston Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect and a person of interest involved in a vehicle theft which occurred in the city’s north end last month.

 

On June 26, 2024, the complainant contacted the Kingston Police to report their 2001 Jeep Cherokee had been stolen from an apartment complex parking lot on Compton St.

 

The vehicle, which is described as a 2001 black Jeep Cherokee bearing North Carolina marker VDE9410 was observed at approximately 6:55 p.m. on June 27, 2024, at the Circle K gas bar located on Bath Road at Portsmouth Avenue.

 

The suspect is described as a bald Caucasian male approximately 30-40 years of age. The suspect was last observed wearing a white colored tank top, black shorts with slide style sandals and white socks. The suspect also has a distinctive tribal style armband tattoo on his right upper arm.

 

The person of interest is described as a Caucasian male approximately 30-40 years of age wearing a blue Champion t-shirt and a black colored ball cap.
