Police arrest four individuals and seize drugs after executing search warrant at midtown apartment

On April 17, 2024, members of the Kingston Police Drug Enforcement Unit began an investigation into a female subject who was residing at a residence on Leroy Grant Drive in the City of Kingston. The investigation revealed that this subject was working in conjunction with several unknown male parties from the greater Toronto area who were actively involved in trafficking drugs out of this apartment. 

 

In the early morning hours of April 19, 2024, with the assistance of the Kingston Police Emergency Response Unit, a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant was executed at this residence. Several persons were found within the apartment and arrested at the scene. A search of the residence resulted in investigators locating a large quantity of fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, as well as a substantial quantity of Canadian currency.

 

Rebecca NAPIER (45) of Kingston, Mohamad AHMAD (25), Jaiden FORBES (21), and Godfrey NGONGO (20) who all reside outside of Kingston were subsequently charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine, as well as possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime.

 

Seizures:

-190 grams of fentanyl

-60 grams of suspected carfentanyl

-28 grams of crystal methamphetamine

-Large quantity of Canadian currency
