Police requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating four distraction theft suspects

On July 15, 2024, at approximately 6:30 p.m., four suspects entered a jewelry store in downtown Kingston and took part in a distraction theft.

 

These four suspects proceeded to steal approximately $25,000 worth of jewelry. The theft involved three of the suspects distracting the employee while the other suspect removed the jewelry from behind a desk/counter. At approximately 6:33 p.m. the suspects then left the store, with the stolen merchandise, and were last seen walking on King Street East from Princess Street towards Queen Street.
